Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 3, 2026
MVP notice: This is a starter privacy draft and should be reviewed for your final business, jurisdiction and data practices before public launch.
What Sawana collects
Depending on how you use Sawana, the service may store your name, email address, profile image, food culture, wellness preferences, goals, meal-planning information, grocery information, workout information and progress information you choose to enter.
Guest use
Before you create an account, Sawana stores your guest experience in your browser on the device you are using.
Accounts and syncing
When you create or sign into an account, Sawana may sync your profile and app data to its hosted database so you can restore your experience when you return. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth. Google authentication, when selected, is handled through Google and Supabase.
How information is used
Information is used to personalize meal planning, preferences, grocery planning, progress features and the overall Sawana experience. Sawana is a general wellness tool and is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical condition.
Security
The MVP uses authenticated database access with per-user Row Level Security. No system can guarantee absolute security, and the service should be reviewed and hardened as it grows.
Your choices
You can use guest mode, sign out of an account, and remove browser-stored data. Additional account deletion and data-management workflows should be added before a broad public launch.
Contact
Add the official Sawana privacy contact before public launch.
